PSECU Named 2007 Development Award Winner by
American Heart Association – Capital Region

Harrisburg, PA - PSECU has been awarded the 2007 Development Award from the American Heart Association – Capital Region Division. This award was presented to the credit union at the American Heart Association (AHA) Annual Meeting, marking the first time that a corporation has been given the award.

The Development Award is given to a sponsor who has embraced the mission of the AHA. PSECU was credited as being a sponsor that all organizations seek to work with. Not only does PSECU give vital sponsorship dollars, but also they become involved. This involvement includes: dedicating “The More You Know” Public Service Announcements to heart health, hosting of Heart Walk Kick Offs, hosting a book signing, and even promoting Wear Red Day and having PSECU’s in-house café celebrate with red-themed food.
