PSECU Protects What Members Value
Harrisburg, PA - Being high tech does not mean being out of touch. PSECU has a firm handle on what their members value – security. “Say ‘security’ to members, and you get a variety of answers,” notes Barbara J. Bowker, Vice President of Marketing. “PSECU takes that ‘holistic’ view on security. Account security has always been of the highest importance to PSECU. PSECU has been a recognized leader in account security, oftentimes implementing protective measures long before regulators mandate them.
“We are going beyond this,” she continues, “by providing our membership with the information they need to protect the priceless assets – such as their physical safety, their identity and the safety of their children while they are online.” This fall, PSECU will present three seminars that focus on these various aspects of security – Be Red Cross Ready, Operation Safe Surf, and ID Theft. “We are pleased to collaborate with the American Red Cross and the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General to bring these seminars to our members and the general community,” says Bowker.
In addition to the seminars, PSECU has revamped portions of its Web site. Areas dealing specifically with security and preparedness have been updated with information-packed articles and resources. These sites can be reviewed at psecu.com/security and psecu.com/prepared.
