Harrisburg, PA - PSECU was recently honored by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing and Business Development Council for promotions carried out in 2007. They received two Diamond Awards – one in the Community PR/Single Event for its National Fraud Prevention Week “Auntie Fraud” promotion and one in the Television (series) category for its “Go Branchless” testimonial ads. PSECU also received Merit Awards in Electronic Marketing for its “Don’t Lose Your Shirt” viral campaign and in the E-mail Marketing Category for its “PSECU Difference” e-mail.

The awards were presented at the national conference held March 16 through the 19 in Nashville, Tennessee. Categories range from Business/SEG development to Web site Marketing. All entries were judged using a number of criteria including strategy, creative concept, design and production, copy and communication, and results.

“We don’t approach our work with the intent to win awards,” notes Barbara J. Bowker, Vice President of Marketing for PSECU. “It is humbling to have our efforts recognized by our industry peers as well as other marketing professionals. It reaffirms we are on the right path not only as a marketing department, but more importantly, as a credit union.”
