ATM service gives you access to your PSECU shares to withdraw or deposit money 24 hours a day. PSECU has surcharge-free ATMs conveniently located throughout Pennsylvania. Compare PSECU to other financial institutions for other ATM fees and you'll see ours are lower or we don't charge at all!

Avoid Surcharges
There are two ways to avoid surcharge fees:
- Make withdrawals at surcharge-FREE ATMs
PSECU belongs to a SURCHARGE-FREE ATM Alliance which provides its members with the ability to withdraw cash without fees. The Alliance consists of over 400 participating credit unions and provides surcharge-free withdrawal access to over 900 ATMs in Pennsylvania (PA).
- Make purchases with your PSECU cards and get cash back
Another way to avoid surcharges is to select "Debit" when using your PSECU cards. When you select "Debit," you will need to enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and funds will be immediately deducted from your Checking Shares (S4). You will have the option to get cash back when using this payment method...it saves you a trip to the ATM and saves your ATM surcharge rebate for when you really need it!*
* PSECU rebates up to $4 per month whenever you use an ATM that does not participate in the CU$ alliance. The rebate is posted to your Regular Savings Shares (S1) by the fifth day of the following month.

About Your PIN
When you applied for your card, you chose a four-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN). This PIN must be used in conjunction with your card at the ATM. Memorize your PIN. For your security, do not keep your PIN with your card.

Service Charges
PSECU members are permitted up to 15 deposits or withdrawals per month at no charge. The following service charges will be deducted from your Checking Shares:
- Balance inquiries: $.25 each
- Withdrawals under $20: $.50 each
- Deposits & withdrawals over 15 per month: $.50 each
Adjustment Errors
You can use PSECU cards to make deposits to your account. If you're using another financial institution's ATM, deposit items must meet that institution's guidelines. If not, the funds could be removed from your account and the envelope's contents forwarded to PSECU for further review (excluding cash). If you are not comfortable depositing cash, purchase a money order for your ATM deposit.
PSECU will assess a $4 adjustment charge to your account when a deposit error is made at an ATM. Deposit errors include, but are not limited to the following:
- Deposit of a check that does not contain a date, signature of the maker, endorsement signatures; numeric and written amounts that are not for the same dollar amount; or missing numeric and / or written amounts.
- Deposit of any check, money order, travelers check or other item that is missing a proper endorsement.
- Key entry of a deposit total into the ATM that does not match the total sum of the deposit items / cash in the ATM deposit envelope.
- Deposit of any item that is altered or has a non-negotiable watermark. An altered check is any check with evidence of a change of information on the face of the check by use of correction fluid, crossing out, etc.
- Deposit of a foreign check or foreign money order. A foreign check is any check issued to you that is drawn on a financial institution in another country (Canada, France, etc.). For deposit, mail foreign checks to:
PSECU Funds Management Unit, PO Box 67013, Harrisburg, PA 17106-7013.
- Deposit of a stale-dated check. Certain checks have instructions such as "Void 90 days after issue date" or "Must be cashed within six months of issue date." You should deposit checks with this restriction at least two weeks before the expiration date to allow time for the check to be processed by the Federal Reserve.
- Deposit of any item that is subsequently returned due to insufficient funds in the account of the check maker.
