Select Employer Groups (SEGs) are companies that have worked with PSECU to offer credit union membership as part of their employee's benefit package. Technology companies, schools and non-profit groups are among our current SEGs. We'd love to add your company or association to our growing list!

PSECU serves more than 300,000 members across the state and in fact, nationwide and around the globe. Using our state-of-the-art, secure electronic systems, members can handle many account functions themselves, giving them more control over their finances. This in turn saves us money in operating costs, and those savings go right back to our members in the form of low loan rates and lower costs for common products and services. Our full name - Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union - reflects our beginnings as a credit union. Through the years, we've expanded the list of companies and organizations we serve.
Our "branchless" way of doing business may take a little getting used to. We'll come onsite for workshops to help your employees understand all the ways PSECU can save time and money. We can participate in employee benefit fairs and provide a host of printed materials that explain our products and services.
The first step is sending a petition letter to PSECU's Board of Directors. The letter must contain the following important information:
- Name of your business or association
- The type of service you provide
- The number of employees/members
- The fact there is no credit union service available to you as a group

Please note that e-mailed or faxed petition letters are not acceptable. The letter must be in hard copy form. Also, if you're an association, a copy of your organization's bylaws must be forwarded to PSECU. These may be e-mailed to your Business Development Manager.
Once your letter is received and approved by our Board, we forward it to the Pennsylvania Department of Banking for their approval. That process takes about six weeks. When approved, you'll be assigned a Business Development Manager who will contact you to identify the best method of introducing PSECU to your organization.
