Here’s the deal. FICO is the credit scoring model used by the Fair Isaac Corporation. This model uses data from the three credit reporting agencies to produce three-digit credit scores. Those agencies are Experian®, Equifax® and TransUnionTM, and each one calculates their score based on the records in their system.
