Direct Deposit Tips
Wait for Welcome Packet
Even if you've received checks from us, wait for the Welcome packet before establishing Direct Deposit. The Welcome packet signals that your account is activated for your use.
See Your Payroll Office
PSECU does not set up Direct Deposit. That's something you do through your payroll office or other depositing institutions (government checks, for example). We strongly suggest you use their form to ensure a smooth transition of your Direct Deposit.
Switching to PSECU - Easy as 1 - 2
- Stop using your old account - Make sure you keep sufficient funds in your existing account to cover outstanding payments. Don't forget about automatic payments like car loans, mortgages or utilities. To switch them from your old account to your new PSECU account, complete the Automatic Payment Change Form and send it to each merchant that receives electronic payments drawn from your old account.
- Close your old checking account - Once all of your checks and automatic payments have cleared, use the Account Closing Request Form to close your old account. Your former financial institution will send you a check for any remaining balances.
Please Note: You must use the promo code SZ444 on the enclosed $100 voucher when applying to receive free membership and earn the $100. This offer expires 3/31/2010.
