PSECU Introduces Groundbreaking New Service
HARRISBURG, PA - September 9, 2008 - In the wake of turmoil in the financial markets, PSECU is offering members a new way to keep track of their credit health. On September 25, 2008, PSECU launched its new FICO® Score Service through psecu@home®, the credit union's online account access program.
The service is offered Free to qualifying members. On a monthly basis, PSECU requests an updated FICO score for all enrolled members. Members can sign up to be notified when their score is updated. An added benefit of the service is that enrolled members will also be able to view their FICO scores for the previous 12 months. Additionally, the service offers information on the top two factors affecting the member's score and helpful hints on how to improve it.
PSECU members have responded enthusiastically to the introduction of the new service, with over 8,400 members signing up in the service's first two days. "Our members' response to the FICO Score Service has exceeded our expectations," noted PSECU President Gregory A. Smith. "As a credit union, this is what we're all about - serving our members. We are very excited to provide them with such a valuable tool."
