PSECU Kicks off Support of American Heart Association Walks in Indiana, PA
HARRISBURG, PA - October 2, 2009 - For a number of years, PSECU has been a supporter of the American Heart Association's mission to better the lives of communities by ending cardiovascular disease and stroke. The credit union has continued this tradition by sponsoring the 2009 Indiana County Start! Heart Walk at the Indiana County Medical Center.
As a sponsor, PSECU had an interest table with PSECU giveaways and information. They also fielded a team of eight employees, who raised a total of $952 for the cause.
Barbara J. Bowker, Vice President of Marketing for PSECU, commented, "We're very proud of our employees at our Indiana Member e-Center. They have really embraced PSECU's commitment to the 'People Helping People' philosophy by becoming a part of these events in the Indiana community."
