Santa Delivers PSECU Gifts to Local Shelter

HARRISBURG, PA - December 22, 2009 - Continuing a yearly tradition, Santa made an early stop in Harrisburg today to make his visit to PSECU and the Interfaith Shelter for Homeless Families. The Shelter is the only emergency shelter in the Capital Region that provides year-round services to families as a unit.

Linda Grudi, Program Director for the Interfaith Shelter for Homeless Families poses with Santa (PSECU employee Mark Raptapolus) before delivering gifts to the families at the Shelter. For the past several years, PSECU employees have adopted families at the Shelter and made the holidays a little brighter for them by fulfilling wishes that seemed out of reach. The employees received wish lists from 16 families and provided the gifts that Santa and his group of PSECU "elves" delivered.

"We are so in awe of the effort that PSECU extends to make Christmas so special for the residents at Interfaith Shelter: the Santa visit and pictures with the children, and their generous spirit of giving that comes through the gifts that they collect for our families," remarked Linda Grudi, Program Director at the shelter.

After delivering the gifts, Santa visited the daycare center at PSECU to surprise the children and toured the credit union spreading holiday cheer to all of the employees.
