Employees Embrace Wear Red Day at PSECU

HARRISBURG, PA - February 8, 2010 - PSECU has a long history of collaboration with the American Heart Association, and for the fifth year in a row, PSECU kicked off this year's activities by celebrating National Wear Red Day on Friday, February 5. The first Friday of February is designated as a day to draw attention to the issue of heart health in women by wearing red.

Employees were encouraged to celebrate the day by purchasing Red Dress Pins and Tribute cards with proceeds going to the American Heart Association. The PSECU Café also lent its support to the cause of women's heart health by wearing red and offering heart-healthy menu options.

PSECU understands, however, that maintaining cardiovascular health is an ongoing endeavor. That's why it plans to continue the celebration by holding a lunch and learn for employees on February 19.
