Move higher-interest credit card balances to the PSECU Visa® Capitol Card and save with our Visa® Balance Transfer option. It's easy to do with our online account access program, psecu@home®.
How To Transfer Your Credit Card Balances:
- Log into your account through psecu@home.
- Click on the "Move Money" button at the top of the screen.
- Click on "Visa Balance Transfer" from the left menu. A check is generated to payoff other balances and is applied to your PSECU Visa line of credit.
Important Information:
- Visa Balance Transfers will be treated as a cash advance at PSECU's current promotional rate and term.
- You may have up to 10 outstanding Visa Balance Transfers at one time. The total amount of outstanding transfer requests cannot total more than your available credit. The minimum amount is $250.
- There is no grace period on Visa® Balance Transfer Checks. Finance charges will begin to accrue on the date the check is posted to your Visa.
*When you take advantage of the 3.9% APR (annual percentage rate) offer, Visa balance transfers will be treated as a cash advance and will accrue interest at 3.9% APR when the transaction posts until 12/31/10; any remaining balance will begin to accrue interest at the standard cash advance rate of 9.9% APR, which is subject to change. Payments will be applied as stated in your Visa Credit Card Agreement. There is a $250 minimum for balance transfers through psecu@home®. Our 3.9% APR promotional offer cannot be used to pay off any PSECU loan. Balance transfers access credit under the terms of your Visa account as stated in the Visa Credit Card Agreement and Truth in Lending Disclosure.
