Harrisburg, PA (April 10, 2019) - Pennsylvania's largest credit union, PSECU, was recently presented with three Diamond Awards by Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Councils. Selected from more than 1,200 entries, the annual Diamond Awards recognize and reward creative excellence and outstanding results in credit union marketing.
"To receive national recognition from CUNA for our marketing initiatives is a great honor," said PSECU Vice President of Marketing and Membership Development Barb Bowker. "In all we do, PSECU aims to provide the highest quality products and services to our more than 450,000 valued members. I see these three awards as a positive confirmation that our efforts to create informative, visually appealing, and interesting materials and campaigns have been successful. PSECU's 2019 Diamond Award-winning entries come from three distinct categories:
- Annual Reports - Individual annual, semiannual, or quarterly reports published in the 2018 calendar year.
This award was won for PSECU's 2018 annual Community Report Card.
- Brand Awareness - Marketing efforts to increase brand awareness recognition to current and/or potential members - associated with a particular product or the overall credit union brand.
This award was won for PSECU's Penn State® Athletics Sponsorship.
- Financial Education - A program that provides financial literacy through products, services, and network(s); strategic partnerships, and educational programs.
This award was won for PSECU's 2018 Fraud Fair event.

Credit Union National Association (CUNA) is a national association that advocates on behalf of credit unions and works to protect their interests. CUNA Councils, which presents the annual Diamond Awards, is a professional development organization comprised of more than 6,900 individuals across the United States. It is run by more than 300 credit union leader volunteers and focuses on seven areas: finance, HR, marketing and sales, lending, operations, technology, and CEOs.
