Harrisburg, PA (December 27, 2019) – PSECU, Pennsylvania’s anytime, anywhere digital credit union, and the Farm Show Food Court Commodity Vendors are proud to once again provide complimentary lunchtime transportation to and from the 2020 Pennsylvania Farm Show throughout the Harrisburg area, in collaboration with Capital Area Transit (CAT). Initially designated as a service for state employees, the annual gesture of appreciation has been extended to the greater community since 2016. The 104rd Pennsylvania Farm Show is scheduled for January 6-10, 2020. Mark your calendars now to take advantage of this free ride to some of the best food around!
“We invite everyone to take advantage of the free shuttles to the Farm Show, and there’s no need to worry about a ticket either – just meet us at the designated pick-up locations, jump on, and ride,” said PSECU President and CEO George Rudolph. “Like PSECU’s anytime, anywhere digital banking services, this shuttle service is all about providing people with convenience. We want to help make life easier, less-stressful, and more fun for PSECU members and non-members alike.”
The free lunchtime shuttle features two routes to and from the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center – one from downtown Harrisburg, running Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at approximately seven-minute intervals, and a second from facilities along Elmerton Avenue, running Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at approximately 30-minute intervals. A complete schedule, including stops serviced, is available at psecu.com/farmshow. No bus pass is required.
“The commodity vendors of the Farm Show Food Court are proud of both the relationship we have built with PSECU and this service we’re able to provide to Harrisburg area employees and residents,” said Chris Herr, Executive Vice President of PennAg Industries Association and representative of the Farm Show Food Court Commodity Vendors. “The Farm Show Food Court is arguably one of the highlights of the year for many folks, and this shuttle service helps make getting here to enjoy the wide variety of Pennsylvania-produced foods our vendors are cooking up, easier. We invite everyone to take advantage of this opportunity and spend your lunch hour with us at the legendary Farm Show Food Court in 2020.”
In addition to the free shuttle service, PSECU employees will greet riders upon arrival at the Farm Show and distribute reusable tote bags to help carry items purchased while onsite. Each day of the shuttle service, 500 bags containing Farm Show Food Court coupons will be distributed. Some of the coupons will entitle visitors to $2 off any purchase and others will offer free food items, like the Farm Show’s iconic milkshakes and baked potatoes.
PSECU members patronizing the 2020 Pennsylvania Farm Show will also enjoy the added benefit of six, surcharge-free ATMs located throughout the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex.
