PSECU, was recently presented with 11 MarCom Awards for submissions made to the annual, international competition administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). Designed to honor the creativity and hard work of industry professionals, the 2020 MarCom Awards program received more than 5,000 entries from 30 countries around the globe. PSECU entered 11 pieces into the competition, all of which received accolades.
Pennsylvania’s Largest Credit Union Launches Technology-Based Campus Ambassador Initiative with Partner SocialLadder
PSECU has long utilized the power of peer-to-peer interactions and word-of-mouth advertising to drive member acquisition on the 20+ college campuses across the state where it has a presence. Recently, however, it expanded these efforts and is excited to announce a new campus ambassador initiative. Partnering with SocialLadder, a Pennsylvania-based provider of automated ambassador program solutions, PSECU’s initiative will empower student influencers to actively seek out opportunities to reinforce the credit union’s brand awareness, financial education, and member acquisition efforts.
PSECU proudly sponsors the 14th annual Pink Zone event, scheduled for February 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Typically held in conjunction with a Penn State women’s basketball game, Pink Zone aims to raise awareness, funds, and support for breast cancer research and empower its survivors. This year’s Pink Zone has been restructured as a Virtual Brunch and Learn featuring award-winning ESPN reporter and cancer survivor Holly Rowe as the guest speaker.

Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance and Leading Sponsors to Recognize 2020 PA Blue Ribbon Champions for Safe Kids Recipients
Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance (PFSA), the state leader in child abuse prevention, and its leading sponsors, including Pennsylvania’s anytime, anywhere digital credit union, PSECU, will return to the annual tradition of honoring PA Blue Ribbon Champions for Safe Kids recipients this spring. The PA Blue Ribbon Champions for Safe Kids are individuals who volunteer or work with children and who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to #ProtectPAKids from neglect and abuse.

PSECU Provides Central Pennsylvania Food Bank Additional $10K Donation to Help Fight Hunger this Holiday Season
Today, PSECU virtually presented a $10,000 check to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank to support its efforts to fight hunger this holiday season.
Earlier this month, PSECU asked its employees to participate in a holiday giving campaign to benefit the American Red Cross and the work it does to support those who experience house fires throughout the holiday season. To further bolster employee fundraising efforts, the credit union also pledged a dollar-for-dollar corporate matching donation of up to $10K.
Recently, Pennsylvania Envirothon, a statewide competition that educates high school students in natural resources and environmental sciences and emphasizes the importance of environmental sensitivity, and Digital-first Sponsor PSECU, launched a free, educational app. Dubbed “Pennsylvania Envirothon,” the app is now available for download for both Android and Apple devices.
