How It Works

  1. Apply for your card.
  2. Complete the transfer- Approved? Great! You’ll need your full account number for the card from which you’re transferring a balance, as well as the dollar amount you’d like to transfer.
  3. Log into your PSECU account.
  4. Click on "Manage Cards" located on the right-hand side of your dashboard.
  5. Click on "Visa Balance Transfer" beside the card you wish to use. The online directions can take you from there. Your transfer will be automatically treated as a balance transfer at PSECU's current promotional rate and term. No need to call us to activate your promotional offer.

The minimum transfer amount to your PSECU card is $250. The maximum amount you can transfer is the available credit limit on your credit card.

You can have up to 10 outstanding balance transfers on your card at one time. The total amount of your unpaid transfer requests can’t exceed the available credit on your card. 
The transaction will appear as: “Visa® Balance Transfer was mailed to [Payee Name] in the amount of [Amount].”

There is no grace period on balance transfers. Finance charges begin to accrue on the date the balance from another card is posted to your account.
No. Visa® Balance Transfers cannot be used to pay off any other PSECU loan.
