Harrisburg, PA - November 18, 2015 - PSECU is proud to announce that for the second consecutive year, the credit union's Marketing Department has received four MarCom Awards. According to the MarCom Awards' website, the competition is "a creative competition for any individual or company involved in the concept, writing and design of print, visual, audio and web materials and programs."
One piece received a Gold Award. This was WalletWorks, the credit union's financial literacy platform. Three pieces received Platinum Awards - the Community Score Card, the Harrisburg YWCA Race Against Racism Poster, and the WalletWorks for Students piece. The Community Score Card highlights the credit union's contributions to the well-being of the greater Pennsylvania community. The Harrisburg YWCA Race Against Racism Poster was created as part of PSECU's sponsorship of this annual 5K fundraiser to advertise the event. The WalletWorks for Students piece is the student-specific component of PSECU's financial education platform.
In addition to the four MarCom Awards, PSECU also had two pieces receive Honorable Mentions - the Signature Loan "For Your Life" advertising campaign and the "Pennsylvania Proud" Photo Gallery.
All of the pieces that PSECU submitted were designed in-house by PSECU's creative team. "My team works hard every day and I am proud that they have received this recognition for a second consecutive year," says Barb Bowker, Vice President of Marketing and Membership Development for the credit union.
Opened in 1934, PSECU was founded by 22 ordinary people who made an extraordinary commitment to each other: To create a financial institution where pooled resources benefit all members. Today, we are a full-service credit union serving more than 400,000 members and have over $4 billion in assets. As a not-for-profit financial institution, our goal remains to help our members and their families achieve a better life.
