PSECU Continues Sponsorship of Local MiLB Teams and Children's Miracle Network
Harrisburg, PA - May 2, 2016 - PSECU is proud to announce that the credit union will continue to sponsor several Minor League Baseball games in Central Pennsylvania during the 2016 season. PSECU will support local teams, including the Harrisburg Senators, York Revolution, Lancaster Barnstormers, Lehigh Valley IronPigs, Reading Fightin Phils, and State College Spikes.
Part of PSECU's sponsorship includes highlighting Children's Miracle Network (CMN) as a non-profit organization. For designated games, PSECU will purchase specially designed baseball jerseys for the players to wear. The jerseys will then be auctioned off at these games with proceeds benefiting CMN. The location of the MiLB team determines which chapter of CMN will receive the funds. Recipients may include Penn State Children's Hospital, Geisinger Janet Weis Children's Hospital, and The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. In addition to financial support, these games provide CMN children and their families with additional opportunities, such as free tickets to the games and participation in the first pitch.
Opened in 1934, PSECU was founded by 22 ordinary people who made an extraordinary commitment to each other: To create a financial institution where pooled resources benefit all members. Today, we are a full-service credit union serving more than 400,000 members and have over $4 billion in assets. As a not-for-profit financial institution, our goal remains to help our members and their families achieve a better life.
