Harrisburg, PA - June 20, 2016 - On Friday, June 17th, PSECU participated in The Washington Center's (TWC) Summer 2016 Career Boot Camp. The Washington Center offers competitive programming, including internships and academic seminars, in Washington, D.C. for college students across the United States. Each year, PSECU sponsors scholarships that allow students from schools in Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education to participate in this intensive experience. During the summer internship program, TWC hosts a Career Boot Camp for presently enrolled students. Public Relations Coordinator Shawn Baile led a financial literacy workshop, during the event's concurrent sessions focusing on the ripple effects of personal finance..
Opened in 1934, PSECU was founded by 22 ordinary people who made an extraordinary commitment to each other: To create a financial institution where pooled resources benefit all members. Today, we are a full-service credit union serving more than 400,000 members and have over $4 billion in assets. As a not-for-profit financial institution, our goal remains to help our members and their families achieve a better life.
