PSECU Supports Mid-State Literacy Council through Sponsorship of Community Spelling Bee
State College, PA - April 20, 2017 - PSECU was proud to sponsor the 18th Annual Ron & Mary Maxwell Community Spelling Bee, which was held in front of an audience of more than 150 at the Foxdale Village Auditorium in State College on April 5th.
This event was comprised of 19 teams made up of two or three adults competing to be crowned the Spelling Bee champions. Participants included Penn State University students, staff and faculty members, local business and community leaders, and State College residents wishing to support the literacy council's mission. In addition to sponsoring the event, a team of PSECU Interns - Kathryn Lebo, Ashley Stoffa and Tony Pensa - took part in the competition.
