PSECU Employees Share Their Favorite Coffee Spots

There’s no shortage of locally owned coffee shops serving delicious brews across the state of Pennsylvania. We asked our employees stationed across PA to share their favorite spots to grab a cup of coffee and compiled them to share with you on this International Coffee Day.

Beaver Springs

Benton

  • Wood Shelf Cafe: Doubling as a gift shop, this coffee shop offers seasonal trinkets alongside their coffee.

Camp Hill

  • Nour: A coffee shop where “people of different abilities work together to contribute to our community and where diversity is celebrated.”

Elliottsburg

Erie

  • Ember + Forge: This coffee shop was founded to build community and share ideas while sharing coffee roasted by Happy Mug Coffee in nearby Edinboro, PA.

Harrisburg

  • Sit N Stay Café:Where it's always coffee time and every cup helps save a pup!!”

Lancaster

  • Copper Cup: This coffee company is located in Lancaster, Mt. Joy, and Brickerville. Their motto is, “Cultivate Better.”
  • Passenger Coffee & Tea: A certified B Corporation, this coffee company is committed to, “pursuing excellence in employee welfare, ethical sourcing, and environmental awareness and action.”

Lansdale

  • Backyard Beans Coffee Company: Started in the owners’ backyard, this coffee company now has two locations (the second is in Ambler) and focuses on responsibly sourced coffee.

Linglestown

Mechanicsburg

  • Down to Earth Cafe: A café dedicated to protecting the environment and community around them.

Millersburg

  • Peace of Mind Cafe - Their site shares that in addition to coffee they have a growing assortment of vegan foods.

Mt. Joy

Paradise

  • Latte Luv: A shop featuring a wide variety of specialty lattes, milkshakes, and more.

Philadelphia

  • Elixr Coffee: This shop specializes in lighter-roasted coffees, with additional locations in State College and Nashville, TN.

State College

  • Rothrock Coffee: In addition to their café, they also offer a subscription for those who want to brew their own coffee at home.

Stroudsburg

  • Cafe Duet: This coffee shop offers coffee, tea, food, and treats.

Williamsport

  • Alabaster Coffee: The owners of this micro-roaster and coffee bar visit the farms where they source their beans from as they’re able to ensure all people are respected in the process of creating coffee.

York

  • Belmont Bean Co: Affectionately known as, “The Bean,” this coffee shop offers a relaxing place to read or play a game.
