At PSECU, we’re committed to helping you protect your money and monitor your account with ease. One of the ways we do this is by offering free account alerts – customizable notifications that let you know when certain activity occurs on your account.
Alerts help you stay informed about account activity and can be a powerful tool for identifying unauthorized transactions. Whether it’s a password change, ATM withdrawal, or debit card purchase, these notifications allow you to act quickly if something doesn’t look right.
If you receive an alert for a transaction or change you didn’t make, you can lock your card in digital banking and contact us to secure your account.
We’re excited to announce the launch of the Withdrawal Posted Alert, a new digital banking feature developed in response to member feedback. This alert notifies you when funds are withdrawn from your savings or checking shares, helping you monitor your account more closely and respond quickly to potential fraud.
Examples of withdrawals that may trigger this alert include:
Note: A debit card purchase may generate both a Card Purchase alert and a Withdrawal Posted alert, depending on your alert settings and when each alert is processed.
This alert is optional and can be enabled in digital banking. Inter-account transfers (e.g., transfers to other shares or loans within the same account) are excluded.
If enrolled, you may receive Withdrawal Posted alerts via email (24/7), SMS, or push notifications between 7 AM and 9:59 PM (ET).
With over 30 alerts to choose from, you can customize your notifications to fit your needs. Options include:
