For many people, owning a home is the realization of The American Dream. Your home is also an asset you can leverage for a lifetime; perhaps even generations. As a homeowner, you become a stakeholder in your community and create a solid foundation from which to grow your family.
Homeownership also means you have fixed monthly housing costs. In our current economy - as inflation continues and prices rise - having predictable and stable mortgage payments creates consistency in your finances.
Finally, PSECU's mortgage options allow me to connect you with the mortgage that’s right for you. Whether buying again or purchasing a home for the first-time (our First-Time Homebuyer Mortgage* allows up to 100% financing!), I'll work one-on-one to get you the financing that fits your budget.
*Additional options for first-time homebuyer products/terms available. PMI may be required. Contact one of our mortgage originators to find out which one is right for you.

For me, it's move-in ready. I see a mortgage as one of the greatest financing tools available. If you don't have money saved for a renovation after you move in (or you're not a DIYer), you probably shouldn’t go with a fixer-upper. However, some people love renovations or have planned ahead for them, making a fixer-upper the right choice. Others love new construction or a house that's been recently updated. The type of home you buy is a personal decision that depends a lot on your specific taste, the finances you have available, and the scope of work ahead. I'll make sure we discuss all your options (and hopes and dreams!) so you can make the right choice for you.
