Welcome to My Financial Insights

What is it?

A tool that analyzes your account activity to assist you with financial decision-making*. Insights are generated each time you log into your online banking account. The amount and type of insight is based on your account and transaction activity from the previous six months. The more consistently you use your account, the more insights you will generate over time. Logging into your mobile app will not generate insights on your online banking account.

Where is it?

You will see insights at the top of your Account Balances page (under My Money) each time you log in. You will see a banner of display cards that rotate at the top of the page. To collapse the insights banner, simply select Show Less beneath the display cards. To see more, select Show More. The setting you select will remain each time you log in.

Can I opt out?

You can disable or enable financial insights at any time. Log into your online banking account and select My Profile at the top of your screen. Then select Preferences on the left side of your screen. You will see the option to disable or enable this feature. Disabling insights will remove the entire financial insights banner from your Account Balances page in your online banking account.

We offer flexible ways to deposit cash or checks.

  • Direct deposit: Have your paycheck, pension, tax refunds, investment dividends, or freelance payments deposited directly into your PSECU checking or savings.
  • Mobile deposit: No need to leave your couch. Just snap a picture, and deposit your checks with the PSECU mobile app.
  • ATMs: Our members can use nearly 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs in our network. Use our locator to find ATMs that accept cash and checks. Simply insert your deposit into the machine.



Need to split a dinner check? Pay your loan? Buy that latte without reaching for your wallet? With our mobile banking app and other tools, we make it easier than ever to pay bills and send money, and there’s no need to carry cash.

  • Bill Payer service: You can pay just about anyone – utilities, membership associations, even the babysitter – using our free Bill Payer service.
  • Person-to-person transfer: Using just an email address or phone number, you can send money to anyone in the U.S.
  • Loan payment options: Easily pay your PSECU loan from your PSECU shares or an account you have with another financial institution.
  • Payroll deductions: If your employer approves payroll deductions, you can have a portion of your paycheck sent directly to a PSECU checking or savings account, or distributed to a loan account.
  • PSECU Wallet: Use your phone to pay for purchases when you create your PSECU Wallet account and add your PSECU cards. You can add up to 10 personal and business cards including our debit card, the Classic Card, and the Founder's Card. The PSECU Wallet is only available for Android devices.
  • Mobile pay: Use your PSECU debit and credit cards through Apple Pay®, Google Pay®, and Samsung Pay. Speed through the checkout line with just a tap or a wave.



Travel worry-free, get fraud and other alerts, monitor your credit score and keep track of your spending.

  • Lock and unlock your card: Is your card misplaced? For peace of mind, lock it until you find it. Log into online banking or the mobile app and go to the Manage Cards section. If your card is lost or stolen, contact us.
  • Notify us of upcoming travel: Even if you're traveling just a few hours from home, let us know about your plans to minimize any interruptions in your card service.
  • Overdraft Protection Transfer Service: If your checking account doesn’t have enough funds to cover a check or ACH transaction, the Overdraft Protection Transfer Service pulls money from specified accounts, including your Visa card. We don’t charge a fee for using the Overdraft Protection Transfer Service. This service can be set up in Digital Banking or contact us.
  • Courtesy Pay: If no funds are available in the checking account and after the Overdraft Protection Transfer Service options on the account have been exhausted, this discretionary service is available to eligible accountholders to cover checks and ACH transactions up to the Courtesy Pay limit. There is a $30.00 fee for each item paid using the Courtesy Pay service. Eligible accountholders are automatically enrolled in this service. If you would like to opt out or have questions about this service, please contact us.
  • Set account alerts: Monitor your finances on the go and receive account alerts on your mobile or wearable device. Choose text, email, or push.
  • Get your credit score: Know your credit score and monitor monthly with our free credit score service.* 


*PSECU is not a credit reporting agency. Members must have PSECU checking or a PSECU loan to be eligible for this service. Joint Owners are not eligible. PSECU does not charge a fee for Mobile Service. Wireless Internet devices, and/or connectivity costs, are not provided by PSECU.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best credit union (bank) I've ever used Excellent customer service. I snap a pic of a check and in it goes. I once had one held for review, and it was because the background was 'too busy' and have not had this issue since. We have three car loans through PSECU and the dealership for one said they always use PSECU because they can't come close to matching their rates. If you have an account issue, they are there, on the phones, till 9pm five days a week, then til 5 on Saturdays. What other bank/credit union does that? No one. BEST EVER...every year I get a deposit from them, because they are not-for-profit, they have the best rates and give money back to their members. You get more for each thing you have, like savings, checking, car loan, credit card etc. Lastly, their Visa Balance Transfers let you write a Visa check for almost anything (except PSECU loans, etc) like a home improvement store, grocery etc. and depending on when you use it, can be almost 2 years at 2.9%

Not impressed that you can't make a loan payment from one bank to another bank very easily. I don't understand why it is so difficult. We ordered two debit cards and received one, and then when we requested another for myself, I gave them a pin and they still used my husband's pin. When I set up payments from utilites to have them paid it works ok, but to make a payment from the bank to another bank it has not worked well. I will give it a couple more months because maybe it is just me, but if it does not improve I will go back to my old local Credit Union.

They've always been ahead of the curve when it comes to their features and utilization of the latest technology. Using the mobile app, website and related services is so much easier than other banks I've had. And in addition you basically never pay for anything-- free checks, free online banking, free credit score updates (a feature they had LONG before anyone else), free cash withdrawals at other banks (via refund-- again one of the first to do this), free member to member transfers, free member to nonmember transfers via PayPal (relatively unique feature), free money (they pay you yearly dividends based on your activity), and a lot more free features. On top of the above, because they are a successful CREDIT UNION and NOT A BANK, they do what they do for the members, not for self-enrichment. Many times when PSECU has an excess of money at the end of the year they have made payments against peoples' mortgages for them. This is an amazing financial institution. I felt compelled to leave a good review when I just read all of these negative ones. If you're a younger person (or perhaps just not lazy), using their advanced features is very easy. For the technology challenged, it may be a little difficult, but so is using a smart phone and no one is blaming iOS or Android for that. The negative reviews on here need to be purged, IMHO. Amazing benefits-- great and helpful staff-- never ever have had a problem I couldn't resolve easily for 20 years and always have more/newer features than everyone I know. What more can I say? A++

I recently made an extra payment but when the auto payment came due it just pushed it back to the next month. I spoke to someone at PSECU and they said there is no way to keep it from pushing the due date back. I suppose I now have to make the payments manually.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PSECU is my favorite! I have had accounts at various banks and credit unions over the years. PSECU is by far my favorite. The recent upgrades to the text notification is amazing - by the time I am getting in my car after a purchase, I am getting a text notification that my card was just used. And when my debit card was compromised a few months ago, I was immediately alerted to the fraudulent usage and immediately notified PSECU - I was never out any money at all and they replaced my card very quickly! I utilize both bill pay and mobile banking and both are very reliable. I do things online via computer and the app on my phone - both work very reliably. Thank you PSECU for staying on top of things and making this very convenient!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from New site is NOT as good as original Although PSECU services and still great, the new on-line banking site is not. Much harder to move around, no loan calculators to see what payments would be , i.e., auto loans, equity loans, etc. Also you could access and check the Kelly blue book values directly from the link PSECU provided in the car loan section. I always liked to check the auto auction site, just click on it on home page and you were there, now you have to go outside PSECU to the separate site at Site is not as easy to use as it once was.
