2026 Election Information
PSECU is a member-owned credit union, and that means as a member, you help lead us forward. As such, members may elect individuals to serve on our Board of Directors. For 2026, there are three vacancies, each with a three-year term.
Nominations
The Nominating Committee has submitted one qualified candidate for each of the three open Director positions. Nominees are listed on this page.
When there is no contest in the election, the election will not be conducted by ballot, there will be no nominations from the floor, and the Chair may declare the nominees elected by general consent or acclamation during the Annual Meeting.
If you’d like to be considered for the Board, you may be nominated by petition. Here’s what’s required:
- Request a petition packet by calling 800.237.7328, extension 2433 or emailing elections@psecu.com.
- Have the petition signed by at least 5,956 members in good standing.
- Complete the petition packet, including the signed certificate agreeing to serve if elected.
- File the petition with the Secretary of the Credit Union by 5 PM (ET) on November 20, 2025.
The 2026 Annual Meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 30, 2026, at 7 PM (ET).
2025 Election Results
The results from the 2025 election are in, and all three incumbents were re-elected by acclamation to serve three-year terms on the Board of Directors. They are Joseph Sassano, Matthew B. Wagoner, and Shawn W. Weis. The Board Officers are Shawn W. Weis, Board Chair; Matthew B. Wagoner, Vice Chair; Timothy D. Grunstra, Treasurer; and Leanna L. Whetstone, Secretary/Assistant Treasurer.

Mr. Nicholas J. Barbera: INCUMBENT
Nick Barbera joined PSECU’s Board of Directors in 2020 after serving as an Associate Director since 2019. With over a decade of experience in accounting and finance across public and private sectors, he is a senior manager at SunStone Consulting, specializing in financial analysis and reimbursement for healthcare providers. He holds degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and Lebanon Valley College. Active in community leadership, he contributes to Harrisburg Young Professionals and HFMA of Central PA. A PSECU member since 1990, Mr. Barbera brings financial expertise and a strong commitment to service and community engagement.

Ms. Jodi Lynne Blanch: INCUMBENT
Jodi Blanch has served on PSECU’s Board of Directors since 2010, including terms as Chair and Vice Chair, following her role as Associate Director from 2007 to 2010. With over 20 years of experience in human resources and training, she leads HR Operations and Strategic Initiatives at Capital Blue Cross. She holds a Master’s in Education from Penn State University and an MBA from Lebanon Valley College. Ms. Blanch actively supports the United Way’s Bridges Society and Women’s Leadership Network, and volunteers with local charities. A PSECU member since 1987, she exemplifies leadership, service, and dedication to community development.

Mr. R. Brian Wilbur: INCUMBENT
Brian Wilbur has served on PSECU’s Board of Directors for over 49 years, following six years on the Credit Committee. He retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Office of the Budget after 36 years and holds degrees from Waynesburg University and the Wharton School. Mr. Wilbur has led various church finance committees and received the PA Credit Union Association’s Joseph A. Moore Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019 for outstanding volunteer service. His long-standing commitment to PSECU and the credit union movement reflects his dedication to financial stewardship and community values. He has been a PSECU member since 1966.
