This October, we’re celebrating the 77th anniversary of International Credit Union Day® – and more importantly, we’re celebrating you.
This year’s theme, Cooperation for a Prosperous World, reminds us that when people come together with a shared purpose, we can build something greater than the sum of its parts. Like a puzzle, every piece matters – and you’re a vital part of ours.
At PSECU, we believe that financial success isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s personal, it’s community-driven, and it’s built on trust. That’s why we’ve spent over 90 years creating tools, resources, and services that support your unique journey – and why we’ll keep showing up for you, every step of the way.
What is International Credit Union Day?
Since 1948, International Credit Union Day has been celebrated on the third Thursday of October. It’s a global moment to recognize the impact credit unions have on individuals and communities through cooperation, inclusion, and people-first values.
Unlike traditional banks, credit unions are owned by their members – people like you. That means our focus isn’t on profits, but on people. On you.
The PSECU Difference – Built Together
We’re more than a financial institution, we’re a community. Whether you’re saving for something big, managing everyday expenses, or planning for the future, we’re here to help you succeed.
And we couldn’t do it without you.
Your loyalty, your goals, and your trust are what make PSECU what it is. Every member adds something unique to our story – and together, we’re building a stronger, more connected financial future.
Let’s Celebrate – Together
This International Credit Union Day, we’re not just recognizing a movement, we’re recognizing the people who make it matter. You are the reason we celebrate.
So thank you – for being the piece that makes our puzzle complete.
Invite your friends and family to experience the credit union difference. Together, we can create something truly meaningful – one member, one goal, one community at a time.
You’re the piece that makes our puzzle complete – and there’s always room for more.
Refer your friends and family to PSECU and earn up to $500* when they join – including a $300** bonus for them when they meet the promotional requirements. It’s a win-win!
