HARRISBURG, Pa. — July 30, 2026 — PSECU, Pennsylvania’s digital-first credit union, has been recognized as one of the 2026 Greatest Places to Intern in PA by the PA Chamber of Business and Industry Foundation, following its placement on last year’s inaugural list. Since January 2025, five PSECU interns have moved into full-time roles spanning human resources, project management, and marketing.
Among them, Laura Struble joined PSECU as a Content and Communications Intern and was hired in June as a full-time Content Writer. During her internship, Struble worked across PSECU’s blog, public relations, product communications, website, and SEO efforts, taking on new areas as they arose and steadily growing in each. Earlier this year, Rania Mazouz made a similar move from Project Management Intern to full-time EPMO Project Manager.
“Our interns aren’t here simply to observe; they’re here to contribute,” said Sandra Holzgen, Chief Human Resources Officer at PSECU. “By giving interns meaningful work, access to experienced leaders, and opportunities to build their skills, we’re creating an environment where emerging professionals can gain confidence, make an impact, and feel like part of the PSECU team.”
PSECU currently supports seven interns across the organization. The program pairs interns with managers for one-on-one coaching and gives them access to professional user groups, local conferences, and sessions with senior leaders. PSECU looks for interns who show curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to take on unfamiliar work.
The PA Chamber of Business and Industry Foundation’s Greatest Places to Intern program recognizes organizations across Pennsylvania that provide high-quality internship experiences focused on experiential learning and workforce development.
Interns may join PSECU for a semester, over the summer, or year-round. Learn more about internship opportunities and careers at PSECU.
