PSECU, Pennsylvania’s digital-first credit union, partnered with over 40 statewide philanthropic organizations in 2024, underscoring the company’s dedication to meaningful community engagement. These partnerships include the company’s four-pillar charity partners - Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals, Junior Achievement (JA), Feeding Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania Envirothon.

Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals: PSECU expanded its partnership with CMN Hospitals to support life-changing care for children and families across the Commonwealth. In October, the organizations continued their special jersey auction initiative to raise $29,451 for pediatric care programs. Other notable initiatives included sponsoring the Kids Helping Kids Hour during a charity telethon and a toy/supply drive benefiting Penn State Children's Hospital's Child Life Program. Additionally, after an unexpected fundraiser cancellation, PSECU donated over 50 children’s car seats to families in need at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA.
Junior Achievement (JA): PSECU teamed up with Junior Achievement to host virtual and in-person career fairs focused on financial literacy and career planning, reaching over 25,000 students across four regions. PSECU employees also volunteered a record-breaking 166 hours with JA, providing practical advice and financial tips to help students prepare for the future.
Feeding Pennsylvania: During Hunger Action Month, PSECU donated $100 for every photo of PSECU members volunteering at local food banks. PSECU also participated in bi-monthly volunteer nights at the Central PA Food Bank and sponsored the Hops and Vines for Hunger event, both addressing food insecurity, one of Pennsylvania's most pressing challenges.

Pennsylvania Envirothon: As an advocate for environmental conservation, PSECU contributed $40,000 to Pennsylvania Envirothon, a natural resource environmental education program. This funding enhanced the digital components of its educational programs, particularly the oral section of its competition, which now features a sustainable energy theme.
Each of these four pillar charity partners also benefited from the 2024 Chips In Golf Outing, one of PSECU’s biggest fundraisers. This year, the event raised $104,210, which the partners split equally. Since its launch in 2017, this annual event has raised over $400,000.
