Recently, George Rudolph, President and CEO of PSECU, Pennsylvania’s anytime, anywhere digital credit union, was named to the 2021 Power 100 list by Central Penn Business Journal and Lehigh Valley Business. Identified by the publications’ editorial teams, individuals included on the list, “make our laws, build our homes and highways, protect our health and safety, educate our children, support the vulnerable, and provide the spark that inspires innovation and economic growth.”
To celebrate the expansion of Penn State Children’s Hospital, PSECU has committed $10,000 to Children’s Miracle Network to purchase equipment that brings comfort to babies in the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
PSECU will again offer a free, educational Auto Buying Webinar to help prepare consumers for their next vehicle purchase. Open to members and non-members alike, the event will take place on March 9 from 12-1 p.m. Click here to register.
PSECU announced that it has entered into an agreement with LPL Financial LLC, a leading retail investment advisory firm, registered investment advisor custodian, and independent broker-dealer, to provide wealth management services to its members through PSECU Financial Services (PFS).
Today, PSECU announced plans for an upcoming organizational realignment and named the members of its new Executive Leadership Team.
For the sixth consecutive year, PSECU was named one of the Top 100 Organizations by Pennsylvania Business Central (PBC), a business-to-business publication serving Central Pennsylvania. Additionally, PSECU’s President and CEO George Rudolph and new Vice President of Human Resources Sandra Holzgen were named as two of the publication’s Top 100 People. Both the Top 100 Organizations and the Top 100 People rankings are selected by PBC from reader nominations across its 23-county coverage area.
PSECU, was recently presented with 11 MarCom Awards for submissions made to the annual, international competition administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). Designed to honor the creativity and hard work of industry professionals, the 2020 MarCom Awards program received more than 5,000 entries from 30 countries around the globe. PSECU entered 11 pieces into the competition, all of which received accolades.
PSECU has long utilized the power of peer-to-peer interactions and word-of-mouth advertising to drive member acquisition on the 20+ college campuses across the state where it has a presence. Recently, however, it expanded these efforts and is excited to announce a new campus ambassador initiative. Partnering with SocialLadder, a Pennsylvania-based provider of automated ambassador program solutions, PSECU’s initiative will empower student influencers to actively seek out opportunities to reinforce the credit union’s brand awareness, financial education, and member acquisition efforts.
PSECU proudly sponsors the 14th annual Pink Zone event, scheduled for February 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Typically held in conjunction with a Penn State women’s basketball game, Pink Zone aims to raise awareness, funds, and support for breast cancer research and empower its survivors. This year’s Pink Zone has been restructured as a Virtual Brunch and Learn featuring award-winning ESPN reporter and cancer survivor Holly Rowe as the guest speaker.
PSECU will offer a free, educational webinar on February 9 to help participants understand the different types of debt and plan how they can start paying down the amounts they owe. Open to members and non-members alike, the event will take place from 12-1 p.m. (ET). Participant registration is requested by 5 p.m. on February 8.
