PSECU will launch its new “You Can Make a Difference” tree planting campaign on June 1 to encourage members to switch from paper to electronic banking statements. For every ten member accounts that enroll in the service, the credit union will plant one tree. The goal of the campaign, which runs through June 30, is to plant 500 trees.
Winners of PSECU’s Annual Scholarship Program Announced, $48,000 in Funds Awarded for Postsecondary Education
PSECU announced today the winners of its 24th annual scholarship program. Each year, the program awards six scholarships - valued up to $8,000 each for a total of $48,000 - to graduating high school seniors to help reduce the financial burden of pursuing postsecondary education. Winners are selected based on their academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and critical thinking and writing skills.
PSECU will sponsor the Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education State System Startup Challenge by providing the first-place prize of $10,000 during a Zoom award ceremony tomorrow, April 22. The challenge, now in its ninth year (previously dubbed the Business Plan Competition) is an opportunity for students attending one of the State System’s 14 state-owned universities to compete for prize money that can assist them in making their dreams of becoming an entrepreneur come true.

Financial Services and Human Resources Veteran Sandra Holzgen to Join Executive Leadership Team at PSECU
PSECU will welcome Sandra K. Holzgen, a human resources professional with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, as its new Vice President of Human Resources on March 23.

On February 26, PSECU issued a statement outlining precautions taken to mitigate any potential risk of Coronavirus contamination at its Harrisburg headquarters. These precautionary actions were taken based on concerns that an employee had been in contact with an individual who may have been exposed to the virus after travel to Italy.
