PSECU is aware of a scam targeting financial consumers across the U.S. and Canada (including PSECU members) through which fraudsters pose as bank representatives in an attempt to deplete accounts and/or advance lines of credit.
PSECU is offering a $50 reward to members who participate in its 12-day Holiday Streak campaign starting on Black Friday, November 29, and running through December 10. To receive the reward, the credit union’s members must make at least one daily purchase with the same PSECU credit card on each of the 12 designated streak dates, spending a total of at least $200 throughout the period.
Throughout September, the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank encouraged the community to contribute to its third annual Hunger Action Month Virtual Food Drive. To bolster collection efforts, Hunger Action Month Presenting Sponsor PSECU pledged to match the month’s total contributions up to $15,000.
Recently, PSECU pledged to provide Four Diamonds Mini-THON® a total of $90,000 in support over the next three years. The PSECU funding will be used to assist in underwriting the costs of Mini-THON’s online fundraising platform, which Mini-THON schools and participants can customize and share with their personal networks to raise money for childhood cancer awareness and research.
On Friday, November 15, PSECU President and CEO George Rudolph served as the keynote speaker at Leadership Harrisburg Area’s (LHA’s) Executive Leadership Series (ELS) graduation ceremony. Rudolph used his remarks to share a poignant perspective on leadership essentials with the program’s 20 graduates and to offer them advice on applying their ELS knowledge to the workplace.

Selecting from four potential nonprofit organization beneficiaries, PSECU members and non-members alike took to Facebook to select this year’s winner – Keystone Human Services’ Susquehanna Service Dogs.
PSECU was recently presented with 18 MarCom Awards for submissions made to the annual, international competition administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). Designed to honor the creativity and hard work of industry professionals, the MarCom Awards program receives more than 6,000 entries each year from dozens of countries around the globe. PSECU entered 18 pieces into this year’s competition, all of which received accolades.

On December 9, Pennsylvania’s largest credit union, PSECU, will welcome Francis J. Pudner, Esquire, as the newest member of its executive leadership team. Bringing with him more than 18 years of legal experience in the financial services field, Pudner will serve as PSECU’s General Counsel and Vice President, Legal Services.
Following a nationwide search, Pennsylvania’s largest credit union, PSECU, will welcome Homer Renteria as its new Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communications on November 12. Renteria brings with him more than 20 years of marketing experience, a large majority of which was spent in the banking and financial services fields.
