PSECU President & CEO, George W. Rudolph, has been named to the 2022 Lehigh Valley Business as one of the region’s power players for their annual Power 30 Banking & Finance List.
PSECU announced today the winners of its 26th annual scholarship program. Each year, the program awards six scholarships - valued up to $8,000 each for a total of $48,000 - to graduating high school seniors to help reduce the financial burden of pursuing postsecondary education. Winners are selected based on their academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and critical thinking and writing skills.
On March 28, 2022, PSECU held its 89th Annual Meeting virtually. During a Board of Directors meeting following the Annual Meeting, the Board elected a new slate of 2022 Board officers.
PSECU invites members and friends to join in a lifesaving Virtual Blood Drive event. The Red Cross continues to need blood and platelet donations every single day to help those battling diseases and facing the unexpected. Although PSECU is not able to hold a physical blood drive at this time, the credit union is still committed to helping hospital patients. The goal of the Virtual Blood Drive is for donors to give blood at locations near them as part of the greater effort to come together and help save lives.
PSECU has been named to the 2022 Top 100 Organizations list by PA Business Central (PBC). The Top 100 Organizations list is compiled with input from community leaders, chambers of commerce, and PBC readers across the publication’s 23-county area. It serves as an opportunity to highlight the vibrancy of central PA’s socio-economic climate by recognizing the organizations that are having a powerful impact on their communities.
PSECU announced today that it is removing Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) fees for all members, effective March 1, 2022. In addition, the fee for using the credit union's Courtesy Pay service will see a 50% reduction, lowering from $30 to $15 per transaction. These changes complement the credit union's existing commitment to no- or low-fee services, such as its no-fee Overdraft Protection Transfer Service.

In order to help Americans determine the best banks for their needs, GOBankingRates examined a range of FDIC- and NCUA-insured financial institutions. The goal of building the lists is to educate people about the benefits of banking, comparing accounts, interest rates, fees, and more in order to protect and grow their wealth.
