Today, PSECU, will launch a summer-themed “SwipeStakes” sweepstakes that offers members a chance to win one of 20 monthly prizes of $500 through each time they swipe their PSECU credit or debit card during June and July.
PSECU, announced today the winners of its 25th annual scholarship program. Each year, the program awards six scholarships - valued up to $8,000 each for a total of $48,000 - to graduating high school seniors to help reduce the financial burden of pursuing postsecondary education. Winners are selected based on their academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and critical thinking and writing skills.
PSECU will offer a free educational webinar on May 18 to help participants navigate their way through the homebuying process. Open to members and non-members alike, the event will take place from 12-1 p.m. (ET). Participant registration is requested by 5 p.m. on May 17.
Today, PSECU, began the phased launch of its newly redesigned online banking platform, the final component of efforts to completely overhaul its digital banking experience. The rollout – offering members a modern experience with simple navigation - will continue in batches until it has reached all users with anticipated completion by the end of June. The new look and functionality of the online banking platform mirrors that of the credit union’s mobile app, which was redesigned last fall, and aims to make banking with PSECU easier and more convenient than ever before.
PSECU, will sponsor the Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education State System Startup Challenge by providing the first-place prize of $10,000 during a Zoom award ceremony today, April 21, at 7 p.m. The Challenge, now in its tenth year (previously dubbed the Business Plan Competition) is an opportunity for students attending one of the State System’s 14 state-owned universities to compete for prize money that can assist them in making their dreams of becoming an entrepreneur come true.
Last June, PSECU, ran a “You Can Make a Difference” tree planting campaign, encouraging its members to switch from paper to electronic banking statements. For every ten accounts that enrolled in the service during the month, PSECU committed to plant one tree. Enroll they did, with 3,140 members making the switch.
In celebration of National Credit Union Youth Month, PSECU, will offer a free Kids & Money Webinar on April 20. Open to members and non-members alike, the educational event will take place from 12-1 p.m. (ET). Register by April 19 to attend.
On your mark, get set, go! The YWCA of Greater Harrisburg and Platinum Sponsor PSECU have announced that a new 21-Day Racial Equity & Social Justice Challenge will precede the 17th Annual Race Against Racism, a 5K (3.1 mile) walk/run event that raises funds to support the YWCA’s racial justice programming. In support of Earth Day on April 22, PSECU, today launched a Bank Green initiative to encourage its members to take advantage of its environmentally friendly digital tools and services in an effort to contribute to environmental sustainability efforts.
PSECU announced that it is sponsoring the EVERFI Financial Literacy Bee, taking place April 1-15, 2021. The EVERFI Financial Literacy Bee is a nationwide financial literacy challenge for high school students.
