PSECU Pilots Free, One-on-One Financial Coaching Sessions at Select College Campuses

February 18, 2020

PSECU recently launched a pilot program that will offer free, one-on-one financial coaching sessions to PSECU members who are students at five Pennsylvania-based colleges and universities - Lehigh University, Northampton Community College, Northampton Community College - Monroe Campus, Millersville University, and Shippensburg University. Based on the success of the pilot, the program could expand to another ten higher-ed institutions throughout 2020.

PSECU’s Cathy Tama-Troutman Recognized as a 2020 Woman of Excellence

PSECU, is proud to announce that its Vice President of Human Resources, Cathy Tama-Troutman, has been chosen as one of the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg’s 2020 Women of Excellence. Tama-Troutman will be among 25 women honored at the organization’s 31st annual Tribute to Women of Excellence (TWE) award ceremony on March 26.

PSECU Supports Pink Zone for Fifth Consecutive Year

PSECU proudly sponsored the 13th annual Pink Zone game, an event which aims to raise awareness, funds, and support for breast cancer research and empower its survivors. Marking its fifth consecutive year of support, the credit union again contributed $3,000 to the cause. This year’s Pink Zone took place at the Penn State women’s basketball game on February 9.

Pennsylvania Native and Credit Union Advocate Margaret Delmonico Named a Finalist for National CU Hero of the Year Award

The Credit Union National Association (CUNA) recently announced that Pennsylvania native and credit union advocate Margaret Delmonico is one of just four finalists for its nationwide CU Hero of the Year award, which honors credit union leaders who demonstrate a commitment to the longstanding “people helping people” credit union philosophy. The 2020 award winner will be selected by popular vote, which remains open until March 20.

PSECU’s Fill a Glass with Hope Contribution to Provide Up to 80K Servings of Milk to Pennsylvania Families in Need

PSECU is proud to once again sponsor the annual Fill a Glass with Hope® initiative, a collaboration between Feeding Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Dairymen’s Association, the American Dairy Association North East, agriculture partners, and business leaders, that provides eight glasses of fresh milk to families in need for each $1 donation received. By contributing $10,000 to the cause, PSECU will provide up to 80,000 servings of milk to those experiencing hunger in local communities.
